This compilation is a mixed bag from the fantastic Hollies. Here I Go Again(their first)is a bit of a let down. A lot of covers that hover near satisfaction but never hit the mark. Their version of "Stay" is too much of a manic paced carnival ride to really enjoy. This album really didn't launch the group in the U.S. back in the sixties, as /5(6).

The Hollies are a well-respected British beat and rock and roll band that formed in the early lly they had a squeaky-clean image and were famous for their rich vocal harmonies, rivaling those of The Beach n and , only two Hollies songs failed to reach the UK Top

Stay with The Hollies (American title: Here I Go Again) is the debut album by the British rock band the Hollies and was released in January on Parlophone Records (see in music). In Canada, it was released on Capitol in July , with a different track listing. In the US, Imperial Records issued the album under the title Here I Go Again in June to capitalize on the moderate.

  3. The Hollies Here I Go Again on g Mono LP. Of all the English bands who achieved international success during the first wave of the British Invasion, none combined youthful rock ’n’ roll energy with musical sophistication more compellingly than the Hollies. The Manchester quintet effortlessly combined the effervescent, Everly Brothers-inspired vocal harmonies of Allan Clarke, Graham Nash and Tony .
