City" Make Me Feel (Horny United Remix) - Various - Luxus House (CD) was one of the most impressive 12inches I had at that time and I played the shit out of it. It was dark and very emotional, it was abstract but also driving at the same time. This was though, before Discogs and before Facebook and all the other platforms people have now to do research on artists they like and follow their work.

At that time it was the record shop - and that was it. Nobody knew this guy though, and I didn't get my hands on any of the following releases, so in my world there was no follow-up to this record ever and I thought it would remain a one-off gem in my record box.

Until by some coincident I recently discovered he was still around and had actually released numerous releases in the meantime. I was very excited and contacted him straight away and ended up booking him for Krake Festival in the same year. Undoubtedly his set was one of the best of the whole festival! He took the roof off the place with his mix of raw electro, industrial and rave and everybody was talking about it afterwards, saying it was the highlight of the festival! Talking to him I learnt, that most of the tracks he played were his own, mostly unreleased.

He produces without computers, all his tracks are single takes, there is no editing, no mixing afterwards, he only has a stereo track recording which is what it is.

He owns a cutting machine which he uses to cut dubplates from his tracks, which he then plays out during his sets. This whole information about this very unique artistic approach just killed it for me, and since working with him was so nice as well, I asked him for a demo for Killekill and its labels and was hoping for tracks I could make a great 12" of.

I got 14 tracks and after weeks of trying to pick the best, I finally realized I held one of the best electro albums ever in my hand - banging beats and the balls to go big and epic, subtle melodies, drama, funk — this album has got it all, and what's most important, the music on it is the exact opposite of so much other music nowadays: It is emotional, it tells a story, it is easily recognizable and it is not interchangeable.

It's just Umwelt. Despite his young age the influences go all the way back from early disco, Japanese easy listening, French chansons and classic house to contemporary electronic music. Lord Skeletton. Drvg Cvltvre. Inspiring by many movements and artists such as Suicide or Sun Ra for instance, even the track names sounds so doomed, Drvg Cvltvre his music is a mixture of Lo-fi punk with a Industrial taste, glitchy and bouncing techno, with a blend of deep low tempo techno sound.

A synth from nowhere brings a melancholic touch in all this madness kicks, breaking in a interesting way the heavy-ness bringing by all the techno rythm, a skyzophrenic game with codes of all genders. Koreman is a highly productive producer, generous by offering many of his new tracks for free to the community there. Involving at the time in the rave culture, with the emergence of New-beat and Techno, you still get the dancing vibe highly in his recent productions. Tracklist: 1.

Comments Comment by Tjaffe We attempted this by killing two adds at the same time once during the Afraid Of Losing You - Orito - Soul Joint (CD and did not recieve the achievement upon killing the boss.

Either it's bugged or I am assuming you need to do it every wave. Comment by Strafir On 3 different occasions my group 1 tank, 4 dps killed this boss in one Ritual wave where we killed the two center adds within 5 seconds of each other and did not get the achievement.

However, on kill 4 we took a long shot and killed the most left and most right add and low and behold we did indeed get the achievement. Comment by saga1 This achievement is ridiculously easy with a Brewmaster Monk as the Monk can cast Touch of Death instantly killing one of the required adds while it is at full HP while the rest of the DPS carry on as if they are not doing the achievement.

The achievement description is extremely misleading. You can now do it on one phase and still get the achievement Ner'zhul: Credit for Souls of the Lost achievement should no longer incorrectly reset between waves of Ritual of Bones. Mark two, preferrably the central ones, and split nuke them. You have to do it every time the wall phase appears.

You will not be granted the achievement if you do it once and skip the next wave. Comment by Sixxi Easy peasy - just kill 2 adds on the edge and be sure they die pretty same u got 5 secs so it's really np Reccomend to use Bl when 1st line of adds appear but you should be just fine. Good luck guys! Comment by Sneakykorean My Afraid Of Losing You - Orito - Soul Joint (CD has done this 3 times now No luck so far. We're going to try to kill the 2 adds and him all within 5 seconds tomorrow.

Will update. Edit: So we ended Album) just doing it normally again by killing the two in the middle each wave within 5 seconds and we got the achievement this time. Guess it's just buggy. Comment by data just an FYI you must do this every time a bone wall comes up HOWEVER if you can manage to kill him during the bone phase it doesn't matter if you get the adds or not my group just got this achievement after going through 2 wall phases and proceeding with burn Comment by Kurojaki Seems very buggy, I was tracking the achivement on first try it turned white as we had done it but then we failed and had to reset fight.

After the wipe we did it perfectly like 2 seconds betwen the deaths and achivement never turned white. Perhaps you can't wipe on him. Comment by Tularai We just completed the achievement as our final for the meta. We were having the issue of the achievement not going white to confirm we had killed the skeletons correctly. After a Afraid Of Losing You - Orito - Soul Joint (CD attempts we tried getting the two skeletons low, and killing them right before the end of their walk before they despawn at the other end - therefore being within the 5 second timer not only for the two we killed but ALSO the other skeletons.

Hoovers And Spray Cans

What is it? No Link Official site. It's tricky telling stories about the apocalypse when you're in the middle of one. Where videogames about the End Times once dealt in nuclear wastelands, the slow onset of the climate crisis has given rise to games that are more about living with disaster than exploring its aftermath.

As regards The Eternal Cylinder, that means thriving in the shadow of a steamroller the width of the horizon, guiding a troupe of elephant-nosed creatures called Trebhum through a wonderful alien ecosystem that is being steadily reduced to paste. The Trebhum, which you'll control individually with the rest of the herd tumbling behind, are neither lovers nor fighters.

All they can do to begin with is hoover up and store objects for later consumption, spray water from their trunks and roll around like Sonic the Hedgehog. But they do have one critical advantage, and that is their capacity for change.

By eating the right things, from grasshopper dung to fish, they can acquire mutations such as third eyes and furry skins that mostly equip them to weather the trials ahead. A vivid but slightly unfulfilling getaway story from the punchdrunk creators of Zeno Clash, The Eternal Cylinder mixes moments of frenzy with indefinite periods of contemplation.

The game's colossal antagonist doesn't chase you relentlessly. Its approach is sometimes blocked by towers that dome their surroundings in shimmering blue energy, creating an oasis where you can forage, toy with mutations and delve into ruins that house basic platforming challenges, together with lore and rarer consumables. There are other Trebhum, too, either revived or rescued or persuaded to join your herd with the right items. In among the indigenous lifeforms are the mysterious servants of the Cylinder, cyborg sentinels whose searchlights strip the mutations from any Trebhums caught in their path.

These enchanted reprieves are the game's highlight, an opportunity to pore over the world like an avaricious Attenborough—working out that one beast is another's offspring, for instance, or how to pit certain creatures against each other.

Everything flows into a compendium where item descriptions double as "Just So" stories about the Trebhum themselves, who aren't as new to this realm as they appear.

I have tried literally every product out there, and this is the first one that really works. It is actually neutralizing the cat pee smell. I can't believe it. I'm thrilled. While we liked the results of this product when paired with the Hoover SmartWash Pet Complete carpet cleaner, you can use this product with other brands of carpet or upholstery cleaner, too. We tried it on a canvas umbrella and mildew spots on our outdoor chair cushions, but Amazon users claim it also works wonders on outdoor area rugs, too.

If you're looking for an all-purpose outdoor cleaner, it can also be used on play equipment, PVC, brick, and statues. Simply squeeze the product through the brush head, and scrub. We let the solution sit for a few minutes in the sun, then sprayed everything off with a garden hose. This cleaner deftly tackled mildew spots and wear on striped patio cushions that had been left outside all summer.

We did note that the stains on the white stripes required a little more attention to fully remove. Amazon reviewers agree that it works. Says one," I highly recommend this product! My Hoovers And Spray Cans rug looked terrible after a summer with a lot of rain.

The spots came up almost immediately with not a lot of effort. I thought I would have to throw the rug away, but now it's good for at least another year. This product worked great to spot-clean stains and scrub down smaller chair cushions, but if you're looking to clean a large piece like an outdoor sofa, we recommend squirting the product onto a larger brush to make the job easier.

Amazon upholstery cleaners Home Depot upholstery cleaners Lowe's upholstery cleaners Target upholstery cleaners Walmart upholstery cleaners Wayfair upholstery cleaners. Choose the right upholstery cleaner for the material Whether your upholstery is a natural fiber or synthetic a good upholstery cleaner will work its way deep into the fabric to give it a complete refresh. But, before you buy a product, check that it will suit the material you're cleaning. Leather upholstery, for example, can be easily cleaned of discoloration or marks, but you must use a leather cleaner rather than an all-purpose upholstery cleaner to bring it back to its former glory.

Before you buy, make sure you double check the ingredients, and test it out on a hidden part of your furniture first to make sure that there are no adverse effects. Wings - Tim Buckley - Tim Buckley (Vinyl, LP, Album)

This is a simple, melodic and nice ballad. The ninth track is the title track 'Goodbye And Hello'. It was written by Tim Buckley and Larry Beckett and is the lengthiest song on the album and is also the epic magnum opus of it. The lyrics are a fantastic piece of poetry brightly sung by Tim Buckley with several types of vocals. It's, without any doubt, the most complex musical piece on the album and it has also the benefit of the presence of a backing orchestra.

This is an excellent song that works very well. This is another short, gentle and sweet ballad, very simple and romantic and with nice chorus too. Conclusion: I have LP vinyl copy of this album, since the 70's, and I must confess that I've always loved it. So, I'm a bit disappointed with some of the reviews and the ratings of this album on Progarchives. I really think that 'Goodbye And Hello' deserves much more.

In the first place I'm very surprised to see so few reviews. In the second place I sincerely can't understand the argument this is an album slightly progressive or not progressive. So, what should we say about the first albums of The Beatles and The Doors? To finish, 'Goodbye And Hello' is an essential musical piece of the end of the 60's that can be considered as a great proto-prog album.

Tim Buckley was an American singer, songwriter and guitarist, who was born in Washington D. His music and style changed considerably all over the years and in the early days, he released his first two studio albums, this eponymous debut "Tim Buckley" and his second "Goodbye And Wings - Tim Buckley - Tim Buckley (Vinyl more oriented to the folk rock music. As he was a very eclectic musician, all over the time his music incorporated other styles like jazz, psychedelic, funk, soul and avant-garde.

Tim Buckley had also a powerful and unique voice and due to his voice he attracted attention because of the sharp of his voice which approached him as a coral singer, what made him also a great and a very special vocalist. He was able to sing in lower register and higher falsetto in equal measure as an evolving "voice as an instrument" sound. Most of the songs were co- written by Tim Buckley and his friend Larry Beckett, while they were in the high school.

Larry Beckett is a poet and songwriter, best known for his collaboration with his colleague and friend Tim Buckley in the latter years of the 60's. For this Album), Elektra put together an amazing team to record the album. They began by bringing in the producer Paul Rothchild and the engineer Bruce Botnick to help Buckley with the sessions. They were the team Album) The Doors. About the musicians who colaborated with him, they brought the guitarist Lee Underwood, the keyboardist Van Dyke Parks, the bassist Jim Fielder and the drummer Billy Mundi.

And if these weren't enough, Jack Nitzsche provided the string arrangements. So, everything was in place. It couldn't fail.

But it did. The album only sold about This is a very personal song addressed to his wife and where we can see a personal criticism to her. The second track "Wings" written by Tim Buckley is a ballad calm and beautiful with the use of an orchestra.

It's one of the stands out songs of the LP and is one of the most beautiful love songs I've ever heard. The third track "Song Of The Magician" written by Tim Buckley and Larry Beckett is a very beautiful song, one of my favourites, and is also one of the highest points on the album. It's a song that sounds as a Russian melody and which also reminds me the movie "Zorba The Greek" with its fast and slow dances. Join ourfans. Tim Buckley - Dolphins Music Video.

Record Collector magazine - p. Song previews provided courtesy of iTunes. Liner Note Author: Izzy Young. Occasionally a recording surfaces that represents not only a holy grail for fans of the artist in question, but stands as an important historical document of an era. Recorded at one of urban folk music's most important breeding grounds on a 2-track tape machine with no amplification, in front of a casual audience of a few dozen people in a living room-like setting, the disc captures Tim Buckley in between the release of his first and second albums, a watershed moment in his unusual development as an artist.

Here, the listener can hear the first inklings of Buckley's later blossoming as an uncompromising, highly influential, and totally enigmatic singer. Morning Glory, one of his best known numbers, very nearly made the cut too. He had married Mary at the age of Oh, I never asked to be your mountain I never asked to fly Remember when you came to me And told me of his lies.

The website Tim Buckley Music provides the lyrics for all Buckley songs and includes a table with headings like Mood, Genre, Instruments, etc. Collins and other instruments that seem to float in and out, sometimes in harmony, sometimes not.

This track in particular is in total contrast to the relatively reined back Tim of the debut album. While Jerry Yester, the producer, must take credit for most of the arrangements on the album, I would suspect that on this one it was largely Tim who was responsible. Mention of arrangements brings me to the other really long song on the album. Whereas, I Never Asked To Be Your Mountain with its loose but highly effective non-arrangement managed just over the six minute mark, the much more tightly arranged Goodbye And Hello tops out at over eight and a half.

He played magnificent, inspired lines to all of these pieces that were stylistically diverse. The sound of his guitar was also magnificent; instead of his electric he was playing a rich acoustic string.

While slightly flawed by the sentiments, I still consider Goodbye And Hello to be magnificent — monolithic, monumental and a touch mad, but it was telling us that Tim had a way with big songs, sometimes regardless of the content.

Apparently, some years later after singing it live, someone asked Tim about the meaning. Pleasant Street from this album was another that reluctantly got dropped from my selections. The middle eight is one of those leaps through hyperspace of which Tim was capable. If Tim Buckley was thin, electric and hinting at psych, and Goodbye And Helloheavily arranged with a diverse range of songs, then Happy Sad was warm, acoustic and, yes, jazzy.

The first, and arguably the most loved of the posthumous live performance albums, Dream Letterrecorded in London in October, contained songs which would appear on Happy Sadrecorded in December that year. On the live take Tim is supported by Lee Underwood, by new accompanist David Friedman on vibes, and by local man and hero of many recording sessions and live gigs Danny Thompson on bass, with the latter given minimal rehearsal time.

Take a listen to both and note particularly the reoccurrence of the riff:. Tim even utilises the same key as Miles though the melody line differs. Indeed the Buckley tune has a greater level of complexity than the Davis twelve bar blues. The song also benefits from dubbed on ocean sound which was added because of an unintended electrical noise on the master take.

Nothing against this one but I rather wonder if this was Tim in default mode. My suspicion is that it was a number which Tim had performed live over the years, possibly in different guises. It certainly allowed him to get more experimental with his non verbal vocal effects. They were less obviously literary than those of his erstwhile partner but, given the more mood inducing nature of the songs on the album, arguably less important than hitherto.

The album was maybe more easily categorisable for record buyers than its predecessors. In one sense it actually was a Happy Sad follow-on in that it contained several songs originally intended for that album.

I live by the river And I hide my house away Then just like the river I can change my ways. Prior to moving on I should document the known facts regarding the recording and release of the albums, Blue AfternoonLorca and Starsailor. His version of the reason behind the move is that Jac Holzman was selling the label which he did, in and he, Buckley, felt that the spirit would then have gone. Whatever the reason, it did leave him with a contractual commitment to produce one album for Elektra.

Buckley himself claims that some of Starsailor was also recorded at these sessions — that album was released, by Straight, in November We were getting real tired of writing songs that adhered to the verse, verse, chorus things.

It happened with the Fender Rhodes electric piano and using one bass line which kept the idea Album) key in mind. It has to be done slowly; it has to take five or six minutes; it has to be a movement. It has to hold you there and make you aware that someone is telling you something about himself in the dark. So how revolutionary was Lorca? Tim gave us a little speaking in tongues though in the main there were plenty of conventional lyrics with loads of stretched, bent and otherwise caressed syllables.

For me, Anonymous Proposition resembles one of those song introductions which conforms to neither tempo nor melody prior to the real melody cutting in, only it never does. If Blue Weaver showed his place in the band on the first song he certainly confirmed that he is no fluke here.

What a perfectly beautiful ending. I have chosen to round it down though for one reason that can be summed up with four words: Ah Me, Ah My.

Oh well, still a masterpiece and a must have, in my opinion. Deeply influenced by the folk revival movement of the late 60s, which resulted violently from Dylan's acoustic "betrayal", the Strawbs progressively moved away from the stylistic features of folk-rock, which nevertheless will always remain present as a structural reference, to finally originate a musical experiment. All the tracks on the album are therefore permeated by a sensitive ecstatic and religious transcendence, which in some points New World, Is It Today Lord, Benedictus becomes shocking and extremely intense; the image is Bernini's "exasis of Santa Teresa", transcendent but deeply linked to the sensuality of the cosmos.

Review by VianaProghead Prog Reviewer. It's one of the most perfectly realized Strawbs albums, in spite of its obvious commercial appeal. We may say that "Bursting At The Seams" was the definite break album for the Strawbs because it marked a major musical transformation in the group.

It's also the album where the founder member Tony Hooper left the band and was substituted by their new guitarist Dave Lambert. So, the line up on the album is Dave Cousins vocals, acoustic and electric guitars and banjoDave Lambert vocals, acoustic and electric guitarsBlue Weaver organ, piano and MellotronJohn Album) vocals and bass guitar and Richard Hudson vocals, drums and sitar.

The first track "Flying" written by Dave Cousins is a nice, melodic and well structured song with several contrasting sections. It has also good lyrics, nice vocal work, especially the harmonic choruses, and it has even an instrumental break featuring an interesting banjo and Mellotron LP. This is a delicate song and a great opener for the album. The second track "Lady Fuchsia" written by Richard Hudson and John Ford is a happy and lovely soft song sung by Richard Hudson and John Ford, featuring a beautiful sitar work and a fine guitar work.

It's a melodic and well structured song, one of the songs on this album with a strongest folk approach. The third track "Stormy Down" written by Dave Cousins is a kind of a country rock soft song.

It's a song with a mix of rock, folk and country and is performed in a style of a ballad. This is a nice and calm song, but represents one of the less interesting moments on the album. This is, basically, a folk song, played in a slow rhythm, which gradually develops into a lamenting, dramatic and melancholic track.

It's a kind of an introduction to "Down By The Sea". The fifth track "Down By The Sea" written by Dave Cousins is one of the highlights on the album and is one of the Joey And Me - Strawbs - Deadlines (Vinyl songs made by him. It's a powerful song, very symphonic and with a magnificent and triumphant choir. This is a song with plenty of variations and repetitions of the main theme, which develops in a crescendo, till a great and dramatic final. It's a brilliant and memorable song on the album.

It's one of the two songs released as a single. I agree with those who think this is a very well made and funny song, but that should only have been released as a single and never should be part of the album. Still, I enjoy this song too much, to be disappointed to its inclusion on the album. Lyrically, the song is very satirical and is about the power of the trade unions in the U.

This is a controversial song that was misunderstood and poorly received by many union activists. The song is with "Down By The Sea" one of the two best moments on the album. I like really the harpsichord sound on this song, which brings to us a certain medieval atmosphere. This is a fine song. Dave Cousins even said once this is the best song Dave Lambert ever written. It's a nice guitar rock ballad, sung by Dave Lambert, with nice and intricate guitar melodies and with a delightful ending. The ninth track "Lay Down" written by Dave Cousins was the other song released as a single.

It's a Joey And Me - Strawbs - Deadlines (Vinyl and strong pure rock song, very enjoyable, well sung, with lots of Mellotron and a good guitar solo too. This is a song made in a more commercial vein to be a big hit. Sincerely, I think this is a real good track. The tenth track "Thank You" written by Dave Cousins and Blue Weaver" is a short and nice song with Dave Cousins singing along with a children's school choir.

It's original and nice, but is at the same time an odd way to end the album. However, this was the last album with their classic line up. Still, "Bursting At The Seams" is generally considered the less good. A recent surprise to find this, an 8-track collection, including Strawbs' "Benedictus". Difficult to date this - many of the tracks are from an earlier period, newly released on 8-track.

The Strawbs track was recorded in and released as a single in and on album in Feb The Humble Pie track comes from a release and the Frampton's Camel track didn't get released until Nicely packaged with 2 pages of sleeve notes in Japanese.

A strange mix of the well-known and the arcane. Picture on Strawbs on the cover is slightly anachronistic, the Blue Weaver joining pic, including Tony Hooper, rather than Dave Lambert.

The copy I have is a white label so no dates all the text except the titles are in Japanesebut I guess from the inclusion of the Esperanto track and the Supertramp track, both released inthat it was another compilation. Only one Strawbs track "Temperament Of Mind". Cut Like A Diamond 3. Alexander The Great 6. Keep On Trying 7. Back In The Old Routine 8. Heartbreaker 9. Carry Me Home Joey And Me Total Time: By the time of "Burning for Album), the Strawbs innovative period had passed, and any progressive leanings disappeared at least in terms of their studio output.

That is not to say this is not a good album, it is, but it's very much another collection of basic pop influenced songs. Personally, I find the songs very enjoyable, especially the powerful opening track "Burning for me" which offers teasing hints that the album may go on to more complex pieces. Other highlights include the vocally well performed basic pop song "I feel your loving coming on", and the drunken sing-a-long "Carry me home". There are a couple of harder rock tracks "Cut like a diamond" and "Heartbreaker"and some softer more reflective ones "Barcarole", "Back in the old routine"giving the album a credible diversity, but in all, it is far from challenging.

If you like the Strawbs pop rock songs such as "Lay down" you'll enjoy this album, but don't expect anything to match the likes of "Grave new world" or "Ghosts". To my ears, Burning For You is the best Strawbs album from the weak second half of the 70's period Nomadness to Deadlines. Album) opening track Burning For Me is indeed one of my all time favourite Strawbs songs and one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs I have ever heard! Overall, this is a rather mellow album with a couple of harder rocking songs thrown in for good measure.

This is, of course, by no means ground-breaking music, and it is certainly not as exceptionally good as Hero And Heroine or Ghosts. But this is very well made music and even if there are a couple of throwaways in there, this runs like a good album.

Sir Spamalot. Plots valt Intro/Live At The Inferno - Raven (6) - Live At The Inferno (CD loederig oog op het gemiddelde van dit album: 2,87?

Amai, wordt dit album zo misprijsd? Onterecht, vind ik toch. Raven is hardrock, Raven is heavy metal, Raven is thrash metal.

I noticed I haven't posted much live tapes lately so I decided to get off my ass and post this one I ripped already months ago.

I know this gig has also been released as a bootleg CD name of which evades me but this is a tape recording I had here - I doubt the bootleg CD has much better sound quality anyways. Thanks mate! The sound is very good and clear, it does shift a bit from left to right every now and then but that's not an issue. As you see the setlist is pretty nice, mostly "Principle The dub quality was satisfactory as well so the rip is good.

Assuming you're an old school bootleg-listening grumpy old bastard like me you'll be ok with the sound. If you're one of those darn kids complaining about the "poor sound" on modern, studio-enchanced official live albums, move along and pretty damn fast.
